Drivers criticized the Ministry of Housing and Utilities report on the reduction of autogas prices in Vladikavkaz.

After negotiations with the authorities, the price of autogas at the "Müller" gas station in Vladikavkaz has been reduced to 39 rubles, reported the Ministry of Housing and Utilities of North Ossetia. Local drivers, commenting on the ministry's report on social media, stated that the prices at the gas station remained the same and called for efforts to reduce fuel prices in the republic.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on September 12, the head of North Ossetia, Sergey Menyaylo, called on gas station owners not to raise fuel prices. Drivers, commenting on his appeal on social media, demanded to check the reasons for the increase in fuel prices, purchase prices, and the work of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

According to the Ministry of Housing and Utilities, fuel and energy of North Ossetia, it was possible to achieve a reduction in the price of propane at one of the gas stations in Vladikavkaz to 39 rubles.

"The "Müller" gas station in Vladikavkaz reduced the price of propane gas to 39 rubles as a result of an agreement with the republic's leadership," the ministry reported on September 11 on its Telegram channel.

The Ministry of Housing and Utilities' message on September 11 was also published by the Instagram*-public news_vladikavkaz, which has about 383 thousand followers. As of 05:50 MSK on September 13, this post received 95 likes and 34 comments.

Some drivers doubted that the price of autogas had actually decreased to 39 rubles. "I haven't seen it for 39, 41 rubles at the entrance to Arkhonka," noted mayucha83.

"I'm currently near "Müller", gas is 41," indicated vovakobecov_88. "At that moment, I passed the gas station, as the news appeared, it does not correspond to reality," wrote user kadzh_sss.

Other drivers considered the price reduction insignificant against the backdrop of previous increases. "From 27 to 43 rubles, and they reduced it to 39 rubles," pointed out user 27890a.

"Thank you, such a gift to Ossetia has never been made: raised by 15 rubles, lowered by 1 ruble," noted bekurovhasan. "And what agreement was the price raised on?" asked vitalikelkan.

Motorists also called for further reductions in fuel prices. "We need to demand a reduction, not negotiate," wrote mironkasoev.

"If only they would lower the gasoline price, it's just talk that it won't be more than 100 rubles," noted c.merenkov4408. "And why did "Bars" raise the gas price again?" asked valerii26ramonov.

As of 05:50 MSK on September 13, there are no comments on the Ministry of Housing and Utilities of North Ossetia's website regarding drivers' criticism of the report on the reduction of autogas prices.

Recall that on August 18, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of North Ossetia reported five identified cases of illegal price increases for fuel. Residents of the republic considered the number of identified cases too small and pointed to the high cost of fuel at gas stations.

On August 29, it became known that at least eight gas stations in North Ossetia joined the agreement with the authorities to reduce fuel prices. Six gas station networks agreed to set the price of AI-92 gasoline at 97 rubles per liter, and propane at 39 rubles per liter; residents of the republic considered the prices not low enough.
