The authorities of Chechnya announced the schedule for the canvassers before the elections.

From September 1 to 15, members of the local election commissions will visit households in Chechnya to inform residents about the elections. Previously, budget employees repeatedly complained that they were required to conduct explanatory work and participate in other election-related activities.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 30, the authorities of Chechnya announced the preparation of 2260 members of the local election commissions for household informing of residents as part of the "InformUIC" project. From September 1 to 15, they were to visit more than 260,000 households.

Starting September 1, members of the local election commissions (UIC) in Chechnya will begin household informing of residents as part of the "InformUIC" project. The canvassing will take place until September 15, as reported today by the IA "Grozny Inform".

The period for targeted informing from September 1 to 15 was established by a resolution of the Chechen Election Commission.

A total of 2260 members of the UIC are planned to be involved in the project, who will visit more than 260,000 households. During the preparation, canvassers learned to work with a mobile application, enter information into it, and record the results of communication with residents, reported GTRK "Vainakh" on August 29.

Canvassers must inform residents about the deadlines and procedures for electoral actions, the progress of the campaign, registered parties and candidates, the location and phone number of the local commission, its working hours, and the days, times, locations, and forms of voting. On working days, canvassers can work from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on weekends and holidays from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, while the duration of work for each of them should not exceed eight hours a day, as established in the resolution of the Chechen election commission.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that budget employees in Chechnya repeatedly complained about mandatory participation in events related to voting. For example, on July 1, 2020, a primary school teacher from one of the schools in the Achkhoy-Martan district described the duty schedules created for teachers at polling stations. According to her, teachers were on duty from June 25 for half days, and on June 30, a directive was sent to all teachers to appear at the polling stations in business attire. The teacher also stated that the principal required a photo to confirm participation in the voting on the amendments to the Constitution.

On March 16, 2018, teachers and medical staff in Grozny reported instructions to be present at polling stations on March 18 from morning until the end of voting in the presidential elections of Russia. Educators suggested that the presence of a large number of people was intended to create the impression of high voter activity.
