The Rostov region was subjected to a massive drone attack.

Last night, air defense forces neutralized more than 70 drones in seven districts of the Rostov region.

According to the governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusary, last night the air defense forces (ADF) destroyed more than 70 drones in the Chertkovsky, Sholokhovsky, Millerovsky, Kamensky, Azovsky, Verkhne-donskoy, and Kasharsky districts.

In the Chertkovsky district, drone debris fell on the territory of an agricultural warehouse, and dry grass caught fire in the village of Novoselovka. There are no casualties, the fire has been extinguished, Slyusary wrote today on his Telegram channel.

In the village of Chebotovka in the Tarasovsky district, a field caught fire due to falling drone debris. There are no casualties, the fire has been put out, the governor added.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that drone attacks on the Rostov region regularly lead to fires and damage to property. For instance, on August 27, in the Tarasovsky district, two private houses, outbuildings, and a car were damaged when drone debris fell, and a fire broke out in the Sholokhov forestry. On August 25, after a drone attack, the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery suspended operations.
