Two servicemen from Dagestan were killed in Ukraine

Namig Gazizov and Yuzbek Gyulechov from the Derbent district were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially recognized at least 2068 servicemen from Dagestan as killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by August 10, officials and security forces had officially named the names of at least 2066 killed servicemen from Dagestan in Ukraine.

The names of two more killed combatants from Dagestan were announced by the administration of the Derbent district, reporting on the transfer of posthumous awards to their relatives.

In the combat zone, junior sergeant Namig Gazizov from the village of Khazar and private Yuzbek Gyulechov from Mamedkala were killed. Both were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, the official Telegram channel of the municipality reported today.

The age and biographical details of the killed are not provided in the officials' message.

Thus, at least 2068 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation.
