Six people were injured as a result of drone debris falling on the territory of the Ilysky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", it became known this morning that five people were injured when drone debris fell on the Ilysky Oil Refinery. A fire broke out at the plant.

The fire that broke out at the Ilysky Oil Refinery due to the drone debris has been extinguished, reported the head of the Seversky district of the Krasnodar region Aleksey Cheverev, whose words were quoted by "Interfax" today.

According to preliminary information, six people were injured, the head of the district clarified.

It should be noted that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in Kuban, a fuel crisis has emerged. In the Krasnodar region, the fuel shortage has led to a sharp increase in demand for gas cylinder equipment (GCE). Queues at auto service centers have stretched for several months, and the cost of equipment has nearly doubled.

Long waiting times force motorists to turn to "gray" installers who do not guarantee the safety of the equipment, analysts noted.

At the same time, a mass transition to gas will not help overcome the fuel crisis due to the lack of necessary infrastructure, they believe.

Creating such infrastructure in a short time is impossible, said the deputy general director of the National Energy Institute Aleksandr Frolov. "However, the current crisis is a good reason to remember the programs that already exist but are developing much slower than planned," he noted.

The excitement around the installation of GCE will subside after the gasoline problem is resolved and queues at gas stations (GS) disappear, suggested the leading analyst of the National Energy Security Fund Igor Yushkov. In his opinion, a mass transition of drivers to gas will not become a long-term trend.
