A march took place in Tbilisi, where participants expressed support for Giorgi Chigladze, who was arrested for beating a Russian-speaking tourist in one of the hotels in Telavi.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the beating of a Russian-speaking tourist by a resident of Georgia previously received wide resonance online. The attacker has been detained. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia claims that the man attacked the tourist after an insult directed at the wedding participants. The victim's friend stated that the conflict arose due to the Russian language.

The march took place in Tbilisi, where participants expressed support for the person who beat the Russian-speaking tourist in Telavi, reported the Telegram channel Tbilisi life.

A video is attached to the post, showing several dozen people walking down the road. Some of them are holding flags of Georgia, the European Union, and Ukraine. One of the participants is giving a speech through a loudspeaker.

The marchers walked from the parliament building to the chancellery building. They expressed support for Giorgi Chigladze, who was arrested for attacking a foreigner in a hotel during his brother's wedding, noted Netgazeti.

It is worth noting that earlier, a girl named Polina, who was in the hotel room at the time of the attack, reported that she came to Tbilisi to meet friends. Together, they headed to the Agarani Estate hotel in Kakheti. At the hotel, a resident of Georgia heard the girls speaking in Russian on the balcony. A conflict then occurred, as previously reported by the Telegram channel "Caution, news".

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, witnesses reported that during a wedding taking place in one of the hotels in Telavi, foreign tourists in a hotel room insulted those at the wedding from the balcony and splashed water on the equipment. A conflict then occurred between them and one of the wedding guests.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that on July 11, in Tbilisi, participants of a memorial event for fighters killed in combat actions in Ukraine held a march near the parliament building. A conflict occurred between the march participants and a group of tourists . Georgian media stated that the tourists were from Russia.
