Protesters in Tbilisi gathered at the parliament for the 594th time.

Demonstrators gathered on Rustaveli Avenue on July 14 demanded a return to a pro-European political course and the release of political prisoners.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 13, supporters of Georgia's Eurointegration gathered on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi for the 593rd evening in a row.

On Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi on the evening of June 14, another action took place for supporters of Georgia's Eurointegration. Activists gathered near the parliament building on the 594th day of continuous protests, demanding the release of political prisoners, the repeal of repressive laws, a change in foreign policy, and free elections, reports Publika.

Demonstrators came to the action with national flags and flags of the European Union, Ukraine, the USA, and France. One of the activists held a poster with the inscription “Liberty, equality, fraternity” in French.

The protesters also had posters saying “For the homeland until the end”, “Freedom for Mzia!”, “Government - resign! Citizens, unite! We are Georgia!” and “The people are on the street, angry as a lion”, according to photographs published by photographer Giorgi Mosiashvili (Mo Se) and Netgazeti on Facebook*.

According to video from Mtavari, at least 100 people participated in the gathering on Rustaveli. At least 12 people participated in the pro-European action in Kutaisi on July 14, a photo with them was published by the Info Imereti page.

Participants in the protests in Georgia have been demanding new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners since November 28, 2024. Security forces have conducted harsh dispersals of protests, using tear gas and water cannons, and detained protesters. Thousands of people have faced administrative prosecution during the protests.
