The rise in fuel prices at some gas stations outraged Krasnodar residents.

One of the residents of Krasnodar complained online that the price of gasoline has increased at some gas stations in the city. Other Krasnodar residents, commenting on his post, demanded that officials and relevant agencies check the justification for the fuel price increase and curb the unjustified rise in prices.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", against the backdrop of the fuel crisis in Kuban, problems have arisen with components for installing gas equipment in cars, leading to long waits for changing fuel systems, and the prices for installing gas equipment and gas have significantly increased. Switching to gas is not a universal solution and does not suit everyone, drivers said.

The Telegram channel "Krasnodar Teletype" published a complaint on June 13th from one of the residents of the city about the increase in fuel prices at one of the gas stations. "Yesterday AI-100 at 'Atane' cost 249 rubles, today it is already 269. There are no queues. I wonder if anyone is filling up?" – the text of the post says.

This post in the Telegram channel "Krasnodar Teletype", which has more than 127 thousand subscribers, had received 43 reactions and 17 comments by 12:40 MSK on July 14th. Some of the authors expressed outrage at the increase in fuel prices.

"What a mess! They do whatever they want with gasoline," said Elena.

"When will these gas station owners be closed for markup?" – asked Pavel.

"Why are you so concerned about this price? If you don't like it, go fill up where you are satisfied. Let them stand idle without your purchase," replied Anton.

"Is anyone even filling up there?" – inquired Marina.

Users called on the authorities and relevant services to intervene in the situation. "Where is the FAS?" – asked a user with the nickname VVN.

"They didn't get the command 'fascinate'," Andrey sarcastically replied to him.

"Standing in line to fill up for 65 rubles," Anton sarcastically commented in another reply to user VVN.

Another part of the commentators stated that in a market economy, each entity has the right to set prices independently.

"I'm curious, why should someone close them? They buy fuel on the exchange, it costs much more, they naturally mark it up and sell it. No one forces you to fill up there at that price. There are gas stations with regulated prices, but there are queues there, and here there are no queues. If they sold AI-100 for 100 rubles, they would also have queues. That's how a market economy works," wrote a user with the nickname V.

"This is not a market economy, it's speculative interests. If the authorities wanted to, they would have found a reason and stopped the price increase long ago. But as it seems, there is no desire," believes Viktor.

"Today I filled up with 92 for 160 rubles without a queue, everything was fine. I'm glad there is such an opportunity. Gasoline is bought at the exchange price without subsidies, so they sell it more expensively," noted Levon Ziroyan.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) for the Krasnodar Territory issued warnings to six companies selling fuel at gas stations "Ufimneft", gas station "Atan", gas station "Stepnaya" due to the increase in gasoline and diesel prices. The companies must comply with the warnings by July 31st, "Kommersant" reported today.

Recall that the fuel crisis in the Krasnodar Territory provoked a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas equipment. The cost of this service has nearly doubled, and auto services are booking clients months in advance. Along with the excitement, prices for propane have also risen.

Some residents of Kuban stated that they consider switching to gas the only way to reduce expenses. Others are convinced that the current crisis is temporary and will not lead to mass retrofitting of cars.
