A gas cylinder exploded today near the "Gazelle" during refueling at the "Bars" station in the Spoutnik settlement, damaging cars in the queue. Long lines for gasoline persist in the republic, and the Ministry of Housing and Utilities is considering introducing restrictions on even and odd days depending on the vehicle's license plate number.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", prices at private gas stations in Vladikavkaz have sharply risen: AI-92 to 92 rubles, AI-95 to 99 rubles, where gasoline can be purchased without queues. Federal network gas stations continue to maintain the previous prices, which are at least 20 points lower than those of private stations, where queues are forming.

AI-100 is also available for 97.10 rubles. Diesel fuel and gas are available at almost all gas stations in the republic. The average cost of diesel fuel is 74.50 rubles, and the price of liquefied gas varies from 32 to 35 rubles, the publication also reported.

If the fuel situation in the republic does not stabilize and queues at gas stations do not decrease, restrictions on refueling are planned based on the last digit of the license plate number: vehicles with an even last digit will refuel on even calendar days, and those with an odd last digit will refuel on odd days.

"This measure is implemented solely to eliminate long queues and panic demand; to ensure a uniform and guaranteed opportunity for refueling for all residents of the republic," said the Minister of Housing and Utilities of the republic, Timur Karaev, as quoted by GTRK "Alania" on July 10.

As of 16:01 Moscow time, AI-92 gasoline is available at 54 out of 76 gas stations operating in the republic, AI-95 at 58, AI-100 at 24, and diesel fuel at 64 gas stations, according to information on the RSO-Alania gas station website created by the Ministry of Housing and Utilities. The agency warns that the site is based on information from gas station owners.

In its Telegram channel, the ministry reported that at the Gefest (Chinese) gas station — AI-95 is available for 100 rubles, without a queue, "Rosneft (Gizel Circle) — AI-92 and AI-95. All pumps are operational. Limit 30 liters. Waiting time is about 35-40 minutes. Gazprom (Gizel) — gasoline is available (please specify the grades). • Gazprom (Nogirsky) — AI-95 is available for 98 rubles. The queue is increasing, and the dispensing is slow," the agency writes.
