The prosecution withdrew the petition for the extension of Alina Djikaeva's arrest.

The Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow granted the investigator's request to withdraw the petition for the extension of the arrest of the chief editor of the Telegram channel "Sapa" Alina Djikaeva, who admitted guilt in bribing a police officer.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the editor-in-chief of "Sapa" Alina Djikaeva admitted her guilt in transferring money to a police officer for information about incidents for subsequent publication. She explained that she admitted guilt after the wording about the crime committed by a group of individuals was removed from the case.

The Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow terminated the measure of restraint in the form of detention regarding Alina Djikaeva, accused of bribery. The petition for the extension of the arrest was withdrawn by the prosecution, reports RIA "Novosti" today.

"To satisfy the investigator's petition to terminate the proceedings and withdraw the petition for the extension of Djikaeva's arrest in connection with its withdrawal," the agency quotes the judge's ruling.

As explained by her lawyer Nver Gasparyan, the last extension of the arrest was until July 12, which means the journalist will leave the pre-trial detention center on Sunday. The day before, the defense reported that the investigation into Djikaeva's case was completed, and she partially admitted guilt - in that from 2020 to 2025, she transferred 5,000 to 10,000 rubles to a police officer for providing information about incidents for posting it on her Telegram channel. The total amount transferred over five years was about 290,000 rubles, her lawyer said.

According to the lawyer, Djikaeva does not admit guilt in giving a large bribe, as the money transfers to the police officer were in small amounts, meaning she disagrees with the qualification of her actions as giving a bribe by an organized group or in a large amount 1 .

It should be noted that police officer Shamsutdin Shamsutdinov previously agreed with the accusations of abuse of power and receiving a bribe. According to the investigation's version, the police officer provided Djikaeva with information about incidents in Dagestan and North Ossetia for money, including personal data of their participants.
