Five servicemen from Krasnodar Krai were killed in Ukraine

Taulan Klimov, Suren Torosyan, and three of their fellow countrymen from Tuapse were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have named at least 869 killed combatants from Kuban.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by July 6, officials and security forces officially recognized at least 4662 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4738 from the Southern Federal District as killed in Ukraine, including 864 from Krasnodar Krai.

The names of five more servicemen killed in the combat zone in Ukraine were announced by the head of the Tuapse municipal district, Sergey Boyko, while reporting on the transfer of posthumous awards to their relatives.

The killed are Senior Sergeant Konstantin Pchelov, Junior Sergeants Konstantin Vasileiko and Taulan Klimov, Corporal Azamat Shovgenov, and Private Suren Torosyan. All of them were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, the official reported on his Telegram channel.

The age and biographical details of the killed were not provided in Boyko's publication.

Thus, at least 869 servicemen from Krasnodar Krai have been officially recognized as killed. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "SVO Statistics: Losses in Southern Russia are Rising".

In early June, Boyko named the names of five more killed combatants from Tuapse in Ukraine - among them were Privates Ovanes Tozliyan and Mikhail Sokolov, Sergeant Vladimir Grichenkov, and Senior Warrant Officer Dmitry Ibneev.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, according to the material from "Caucasian Knot" "Three Comrades Served: How Authorities Deny Benefits to Families of Killed Volunteers", which describes the stories of the killed fighters. "I receive only twelve thousand rubles a month for two minor children as a family of military pensioners," said the widow of one of them.
