The authorities of Chechnya reported the dispatch of another group of fighters to Ukraine.

Another group of volunteers has departed from the airport in Grozny to the area of the special military operation, reported the authorities of Chechnya.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the authorities of Chechnya regularly report on the dispatch of groups of fighters from the republic to the area of military operations in Ukraine, the last time they published such a report on June 20.

A new group of fighters, numbering 120 people who have completed training, has been sent from the airport in Grozny to the area of the special military operation. Before their departure, the Chairman of the Government of Chechnya, Magomed Daudov, addressed the fighters, as reported late last night on the Instagram* page of the state television channel "Grozny".

A video is attached to the post, showing a group of fighters lined up near the aircraft's ramp. One of the fighters, who arrived in Chechnya from Abkhazia, stated that the unit underwent training at the Russian Special Forces University. The channel's correspondent clarified that the fighters underwent training for two weeks.

It should be noted that earlier, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, stated that more than 41,000 fighters had been sent from the republic since the beginning of hostilities, with almost half of them being volunteers. However, the data on the total number of security personnel sent from Chechnya since February 24, 2022, does not account for the number of military personnel who have been discharged, are in barracks, on leave, or have left the combat zone as part of rotation. Against the backdrop of speculation about the large number of dispatched security personnel, since November 2022, Kadyrov has accompanied each of his announcements about the dispatch of another group with a call to contact the Grozny city administration and sign up as a volunteer. At the same time, the head of Chechnya regularly states that the flow of volunteers is not decreasing and that there are no problems with their recruitment.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that volunteers arriving in Chechnya to sign a military contract complained on January 14, 2025, that they were kept locked up for weeks to be sent to the area of military operations instead of local residents who had paid to avoid service. According to human rights defenders, coercion to sign contracts is practiced in Chechnya, and security personnel may create an "exchange fund" from incoming volunteers from other regions who will sign contracts instead of locals.

The Russian Special Forces University is a training center organized by Ramzan Kadyrov in Gudermes, where volunteers are trained for dispatch to combat zones and the "Akhmat" special forces are based.
