The quality of the sand at the Anapa beach has raised concerns among Telegram users.

At the "Caucasus" beach, where the replenishment with new sand has recently been completed, strong waves expose hard pieces resembling concrete debris.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", 11 beaches in Anapa are undergoing examination after the sand replenishment, while 75 beaches are open for recreation and swimming. Earlier, the governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev, compared the sand on the beaches of Anapa and Thailand, while the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Chernyshenko, compared the beaches of Anapa and the French Riviera. Telegram users doubted whether the replenishment with new sand on the beaches of Anapa was really necessary, and the continuation of work in the height of the resort season caused their dissatisfaction.

Bloggers Yuri Ozarovsky published a complaint about the quality of the sand at the "Caucasus" beach, which was sent to him by a subscriber named Larisa.

"The wave washes away the sand, leaving such pieces... There are a lot of them! When you walk on the new sand, it often hurts to step..." - she wrote.

Bloggers Andrey Makovozov reported on July 3 that at the "Caucasus" beach, "the replenishment was literally completed a few days ago, and the installation of beach infrastructure is in full swing," while there are many people on the beach, the beach is "overcrowded with tourists".
