A soldier from Kalmykia was killed in Ukraine

Maxim Bugayev from the Chernozemelsky district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 234 fighters from Kalmykia have been officially recognized as killed.

The administration of the Chernozemelsky district reported on the transfer of the Order of Courage to the family of Maxim Bugayev, who was killed during the military operation, on their page on "VKontakte".

Maxim Bugayev had been in the area of the special military operation since February 2025. He served in military unit 40318. On April 13, 2025, he was killed near the settlement of Druzhba in the Artemovsk direction.

Thus, at least 234 fighters from Kalmykia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
