The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, responded to complaints from orphans from Pallasovka, who complained about being provided with housing that was unfit for habitation.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", on June 27, Pallasovka resident Saule Saparova complained that officials had given her the housing she was legally entitled to as an orphan, but it was unfit for habitation due to damaged walls and unsanitary conditions.

The Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin ordered a report on information regarding violations of the rights of orphans from the town of Pallasovka, Vysota 102 reported on June 28. The orphans complained that the housing provided to them by law was unfit for habitation: mold, dampness, insects, and peeling plaster. Bastrykin instructed Vasily Semenov, head of the regional Investigative Committee, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the established circumstances. In Volgograd and the Volgograd Region, orphans who are supposed to be provided with housing by the authorities have repeatedly complained about violations of their housing rights. Thus, on June 20, Elena Mikhailova, who was raised in boarding schools in Dagestan and Volgograd, complained that she has been trying to get the housing she is legally entitled to from officials for nine years. On June 9, Maxim Chadlev, a resident of the Volgograd region and an orphan, complained that for a long time, officials have not provided him with the housing he is legally entitled to.
