A cargo of grain was sent from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan.

Russia sent another shipment of grain to Armenia via Azerbaijan. Baku announced the shipment of diesel fuel to Armenia.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", on June 15, Russia exported 490 tons of grain to Armenia via Azerbaijan.

On June 20, a train carrying wheat from Russia departed from the Bilajari railway station on the outskirts of Baku, transiting Azerbaijan to Armenia. The total weight of the cargo shipped in a seven-car train is 490 tons, Oxu.az reports.

Previously, Russia shipped over 29,000 tons of wheat, over 7,000 tons of fertilizer, over 400 tons of anthracite, 133 tons of aluminum, and 68 tons of buckwheat to Armenia via Azerbaijan.

In addition, the shipment of 17 cars of diesel fuel with a total volume of 1,000 tons from the same station to Armenia is announced for June 21, Trend reports, citing the press service of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

In total, as of June 20, Baku has shipped over 3,300 tons of diesel fuel to Armenia.

As a reminder, in October 2025, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev Aliyev announced the lifting of all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia. In early November 2025, a cargo of Russian grain arrived in Armenia via Azerbaijan for the first time since the 1990s. Armenian authorities stated that this was the fulfillment of one of the agreements reached in the United States, which contributes to strengthening peace between Yerevan and Baku.
