A fighter from the Astrakhan region was killed in Ukraine.

Muslim Zhumakhaev from the Kamyzyak district was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 735 soldiers from the Astrakhan region have been recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by April 18, at least 734 soldiers from the Astrakhan region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

In the Kamyzyak district, the Order of Courage was presented to the relatives of Private Muslim Zhumakhaev from the village of Zhan-Aul, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel on May 4.

Muslim Zhumakhaev was born in 1994. He was sent to the SVO zone in May 2024 and served as a gunner in a motorized rifle regiment. "On June 21, 2024, the soldier's life was tragically cut short while carrying out a combat mission," the publication states.

Thus, at least 735 soldiers from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
