Three beaches in Anapa have received permission to open for the holiday season.

The test section in Anapa, which was the first to be filled with imported sand, has received the necessary permits. The beaches of the Vita children's resort, the Pearl of Russia children's health complex, and the Miracleon hotel in the village of Vityazevo will be allowed to operate during the resort season.

As reported by Kavkazsky Uzel, Krasnodar Krai authorities reported the beginning of filling the first three-and-a-half-kilometer stretch of Anapa's beaches with a 50-centimeter layer of sand in preparation for the resort season. Telegram users noted that the sand resembles clay and risks worsening the condition of the beaches.

This refers to a one-kilometer stretch used by the Vita children's resort, the Zhemchuzhina Rossii children's health complex, and the Miracleon resorts in the village of Vityazevo. The Krasnodar Krai task force announced today on its Telegram channel that the beach area was restored for the first time here as a test site.

"After this, specialists, including those from Rospotrebnadzor, inspected the resort area's safety and confirmed its cleanliness and compliance with sanitary requirements. On April 28, Rospotrebnadzor issued a sanitary and epidemiological certificate certifying that the seawater within this beach area also complies with sanitary rules and regulations," the task force said in a statement.

This means that the beach section is fully ready to welcome vacationers.

The goal of reopening the beaches will be achieved, despite the environmental impact, users believe. Quarry sand will not solve the problem of fuel oil emissions, but will only temporarily conceal pollution on Anapa's beaches, environmentalists and activists have pointed out.
