As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," an explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Vladikavkaz killed three people and injured 14.

This morning, an explosion occurred at the corner of Internatsionalnaya Street and Partizansky Lane while garbage containers were being loaded. A utility worker who was cleaning the area at the time was killed, North Ossetia Governor Sergei Menyailo reported today on his Telegram channel.

A decision was made to tow the garbage truck to a landfill at the scene. "This is necessary because unloading and fully inspecting the contents on-site is unsafe. At the landfill, specialists will unload all the waste and thoroughly check it for any potentially explosive objects or substances," he said in another message.

The waste containers are located near the HDM warehouses where a pyrotechnics explosion occurred a week ago, Sapa noted.

The preliminary cause of the explosion in Vladikavkaz is the detonation of waste from an underground pyrotechnics warehouse, which was presumably dumped in trash bins, Mash Gor reports.
