Due to heavy rains, a landslide occurred that destroyed part of the road in the village of Verkhneye Kazanishche. Access to the village is now only possible via a bypass road.

As reported by Kavkazsky Uzel, as of the evening of April 7, more than 800 socially significant facilities in Dagestan had been damaged by flooding, with approximately 1.5 million residents in the emergency zone.
