A Dagestani woman has been convicted of justifying terrorism.

A military court in Rostov-on-Don found a native of the Dokuzparinsky district of Dagestan guilty of justifying terrorism. The woman was sentenced to a fine and banned from administering internet pages.

The criminal prosecution of Aisha Navruzbekova, from the village of Mikrakh in the Dokuzparinsky district of Dagestan, was prompted by a post on her Telegram channel.

The Dagestan resident's sentence, which came into force today, was announced, although the case was heard back in November 2025. According to the prosecution, in 2022, Navruzbekova posted on her channel "an audio recording of a lecture by one of the preachers of an international terrorist organization," banned in Russia.

"The lecture contained calls for violence and armed struggle, as well as justification of terrorist activity," RIA Dagestan quotes a statement from the FSB Directorate for Dagestan today.

The woman pleaded guilty to the charges and expressed remorse. The Southern District Military Court found her guilty of justifying terrorism 1 , but imposed a non-custodial sentence. Navruzbekova was fined 360,000 rubles and banned from administering websites for two years, TASS-Kavkaz reports.

Aisha Navruzbekova's case was submitted to the military court in Rostov-on-Don on October 1, 2025, and was heard in four sessions. Her sentence was announced on November 28, according to the case file. There is no information on the appeal of the sentence in the case file.

Aisha Navruzbekova was born in the village of Mikrakh on February 22, 2000, according to the Rosfinmonitoring register of terrorists and extremists. According to a Telegram bot tracking updates to the list, her name was added to the list on the day the case was filed with the court, October 1, 2025.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that in December 2025, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Dagestani native Omar Ismailov to four years in prison, finding him guilty of promoting terrorism.
