Three residents of the Volgograd region were injured during a drone attack.

A woman, a teenager, and a 12-year-old child were hospitalized as a result of a drone attack in Volgograd and the surrounding area, said Volgograd Governor Andrei Bocharov.

According to authorities, both industrial infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were hit by drone attacks in Volgograd and its surrounding suburbs.

According to Governor Andrei Bocharov, three residents are known to have been injured. Doctors say their lives are not in danger.

"The home of a large family in the Yamy village of the Sredneakhtubinsky District sustained significant damage; a 12-year-old boy was hospitalized. An 18-year-old teenager and a woman were also hospitalized in the Krasnoarmeysky District," according to a statement on the regional administration's official Telegram channel.

The official noted that drone debris damaged several private and apartment buildings in Volgograd, including those on 30th Anniversary of Victory Boulevard, 8th Air Army Boulevard, and Heroes of Stalingrad Avenue. "Cars were damaged, apartment windows were shattered," Bocharov added.

In one Volgograd apartment building, the impact of drone debris shattered windows and "blew out dozens of window frames, and several cars caught fire in the parking lot," the SHOT Telegram channel reported, citing local residents.

After a series of explosions, drone debris fell in the parking lot of the 7 Vetrov residential complex, where at least three cars immediately caught fire, according to Baza. Other sources say five cars were involved.

A resident of a building in the "7 Vetrov" neighborhood reported that she miraculously escaped injury from glass fragments, as their dispersion was stopped by curtains. She added that "the entire neighborhood is covered in smoke," according to "Ostorozhno Novosti."

A drone threat in the Volgograd region was declared on the evening of February 12. At 10:47 p.m. Moscow time, Volgograd Airport was closed to flights.
