Evacuated residents of Kotluban returned to their homes

All residents of Kotluban evacuated due to the threat of shell detonation have left their temporary accommodation centers.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the morning of February 12, Volgograd Region authorities announced an evacuation in the village of Kotluban, where a fire broke out during a missile attack. Accommodation for the evacuees was organized at the Gorodishchensky District House of Culture and the Gorodishchensky Children's and Youth Sports School.

All evacuated residents of Kotluban were able to return home by the evening of January 12, the Volgograd Region administration reported.

According to officials, after 3:30 PM Moscow time, emergency services completed all security measures and allowed residents of the village to return home. By 4:00 PM, all evacuees had left their temporary accommodation centers.

"In Kotluban, all life support systems were and continue to operate normally," notes a post on the regional administration's official Telegram channel.

Near the village of Kotluban in the Volgograd Region, there is a large missile, ammunition, and explosives storage facility—the arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
