Authorities in the Volgograd region have announced an evacuation in the village of Kotluban.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of February 11th, a drone attack occurred in the Volgograd Region on energy and civilian infrastructure. In Volzhsky, damage was recorded to a house on Karbysheva Street, and a drone crashed on the grounds of the Yagodka kindergarten. Additionally, a fire broke out at a factory in southern Volgograd.

During a missile attack on the Volgograd Region, debris fell on a Ministry of Defense facility near the village of Kotluban, sparking a fire. "There are no injured residents or damage to civilian objects," Governor Andrei Bocharov was quoted as saying on the regional administration's Telegram channel.

An evacuation was announced in the village "to ensure the safety of the civilian population from the threat of detonation during firefighting." Buses have been prepared and dispatched to carry out the evacuation. Temporary accommodation centers have been set up at the Gorodishchensky District Community Center and the Gorodishchensky Children's and Youth Sports School, the official noted.

Twelve residents of Volzhsky remained in the temporary accommodation center.

As of February 11, 12 residents of the damaged apartment building remained in the temporary accommodation center in the city of Volzhsky. "Some are at work, some have gone to visit relatives, and children have also been taken to see friends and family," TASS quoted Nikolai Usov, head of the Volzhsky administration's information policy department, as saying. According to the official, the damaged building has been inspected and all utilities are operational. Only one window was broken. Usov clarified that residents will be able to return to their apartments after all investigative measures have been completed.
