84 drones were destroyed in five regions of southern Russia.

Last night, the military shot down drones in the Volgograd, Rostov, and Astrakhan regions, Kalmykia, and North Ossetia. There were no injuries, but houses and buildings were damaged, authorities reported.

In Volzhsky, damage was recorded to the roof of a house on Karbysheva Street, and a drone crashed on the grounds of the Yagodka kindergarten. In addition, a fire broke out on the territory of a plant in the south of Volgograd.

Last night, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 108 Ukrainian drones, most of them in the Volgograd (49 drones) and Rostov (29 drones) regions, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

In addition, three drones were shot down in the Astrakhan region, two in Kalmykia and one in North Ossetia. Seven more drones were shot down over the Black Sea, and one over the Sea of ​​Azov.

The remaining drones were destroyed in the Saratov, Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, and Tula regions, in Tatarstan, and Crimea, the publication notes.

In the Rostov Region, drone attacks were repelled in Volgodonsk, Donetsk, and Kamensk-Shakhtinsky. Astrakhan Region Governor Igor Babushkin and Kalmykia Governor Batu Khasikov, as of 9:10 AM Moscow time, had not reported on the airstrike or its consequences in their Telegram channels.
