A Sochi court refused to lift the freeze on the business of deputy Doroshenko's children.

The Central District Court of Sochi rejected the petitions of Milana and Eldar, the children of State Duma deputy Andrei Doroshenko, to lift interim measures in the Prosecutor General's Office's anti-corruption lawsuit.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," in February, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit to seize the assets of former State Duma deputy from Kuban, Anatoly Voronovsky, current deputy Andrei Doroshenko, and several other individuals. Bailiffs seized approximately 20 organizations specializing in road construction. Former head of the Kuban Road Workers' Union, Daria Chubachuk, and entrepreneurs Igor Serdyuk and Yevgeny Nikogda were also sent to pretrial detention.

Bailiffs, as part of the Prosecutor General's Office's lawsuit to seize property for the benefit of the state, have placed a preventive seizure on three companies belonging to Milana and Eldar Doroshenko. A criminal case has been opened against the deputy's children, and the court has ordered their pretrial detention, Kommersant reported on February 9.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation previously filed an anti-corruption lawsuit to seize the assets of Voronovsky, Doroshenko, and Alexander Karpenko, a member of the Krasnodar Krai Legislative Assembly, for the benefit of the state. The lawsuit names 30 defendants and 19 third parties, including Eldar and Milana Doroshenko. According to documents, the defendants in the lawsuit have received at least 2.8 billion rubles through corruption since 2016, RIA Novosti reports.

Road construction companies in the Krasnodar Territory also filed motions with the court to overturn the interim measures in full or in part, including Severskoye DRSU LLC, DorMost LLC, Stroyugregion LLC, and Osnova LLC. The judge considered them during the court hearing and denied them.

Eldar and Milana Doroshenko are charged with fraud on an especially large scale or committed by an organized group 1 , according to the court file of the Krasnodar Regional Court, the agency clarified.

The construction of highways near residential buildings and The problematic condition of existing roads has repeatedly been the cause of complaints from residents of the region. For example, in December 2025, residents of Kurchatov Street in Krasnodar called on authorities to reconsider plans to build a highway on the site of a green recreation area near their homes. Their appeals to officials, they complained, went unanswered. According to the plans, the new highway will run from Rostovskoye Shosse Street, along Kurchatov Street, and onto 40 Years of Victory Street. Authorities plan to demolish part of the overpass and build a new structure, widening the roadway from four to five lanes.
