An accident occurred on a power line in the Rostov region, leaving several villages and part of Aksai without power, while some areas of the city also lack water and heating.

On the evening of December 20, several villages in the Rostov region were left without power due to damage to a power line.

According to the authorities of the Aksai district, a break in the power line led to a blackout in the village of Bolshoy Log, the villages of Pchelovodny, Rekonstruktor, and Rossiysky, as well as part of the city of Aksai - the village of Berdanosovka, the Alekseevo microdistrict, Stroiteley Street, the Voenny Gorodok microdistrict, and Donday.ru reports.

Furthermore, due to the power outage, there is no water or heating in the Voenny Gorodok microdistrict and no water in the Alekseevo microdistrict.

Three teams from Novocherkassk have been dispatched to repair the power line outage. The cause of the accident and the time it will be resolved have not been reported.

Previously, "Caucasian Knot" reported that a drone strike on December 7 damaged a power line tower in the Rostov region, leaving 250 residents of the Kolundaevsky village without power.
