Turkish authorities have decided to deport Gultekin Hacibeyli
Gultekin Hajibeyli, a member of the Coordination Center of the National Council of Democratic Forces of Azerbaijan, received an official decision on her deportation from Turkey for five years.
As reported by the " Caucasian Knot ," Gultekin Hajibeyli, a member of the Coordination Center of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) of Azerbaijan, was detained in Turkey on the night of November 30. On December 3, it was reported that she was being held in a deportation center and was not allowed to see anyone. However, Turkish authorities have not officially announced whether they plan to deport Hajibeyli to Azerbaijan.
Opposition members linked this detention to the case against the leader of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Ali Karimli.
Turkish authorities have decided to deport Gultekin Hajibeyli, she announced on social media, Oxu.az reported on December 15.
According to Hajibeyli, she was given an official decision deporting her from Turkey for five years. After her arrest on November 29, she was taken to the Arnavutköy Migration Center, and a few days ago, she was transferred to the Çatalca Detention and Deportation Center.
