A resident of the Rostov region was injured during a drone attack.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", on November 25, three people were killed and eight were injured as a result of a drone attack in the Rostov Region.

A resident of the village of Dmitriadovka in the Neklinovsky District of the Rostov Region was injured during a drone attack on the evening of November 26, Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.

According to the official, air defense forces are repelling a drone attack in the southwest of the Rostov Region - in Taganrog and the Neklinovsky District. In the village of Dmitriadovka, a drone damaged the roof of a private home.

“A village resident was injured by shards of glass. She received medical attention on the spot,” wrote Slyusar.

In the comments to the governor's post, messenger users said they don't always hear the sirens warning of a drone attack.

“Maybe if the siren had been turned on before the shootdown, there would have been fewer casualties? People would have had time to move away from the windows,” suggested Tatiana M. “No, they'll shut off the internet throughout the region, even in places where there's never been a drone,” replied user lega.

“In Taganrog, it still seems to be howling. But Rostov never hears it,” stated user Rostov Sky. "First there are explosions, your heart sinks, you run away from the windows, take your child away, and then the siren goes off," Tatyana M shared her experience.

"You're not alone. We get shot down often, but there's never been a siren, so it's clearly not an air raid siren. And who cares where people are at that moment? They're just unexpectedly hit by shrapnel. No one even hears the training siren here; it's so shameful," Elena reported.

"Caucasian Knot" reported that residents of the Volgograd region have repeatedly expressed doubts about the usefulness of shutting down mobile internet for countering drone attacks. The attacks themselves and the resulting destruction continue, although authorities call the shutdowns necessary for safety, Volgograd residents indicated.
