Residents of a village in the Rostov region were left without power after a drone attack.

Authorities reported the restoration of power. Schools in the Slavyansky District of the Krasnodar Territory were canceled.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," 17 residential buildings were damaged following a drone attack in the Krasnodar Territory on the night of November 19.

A power transmission tower was damaged in the Chertkovsky District of the Rostov Region as a result of a drone attack.

"A drone attack was repelled overnight in the Chertkovsky and Sholokhovsky Districts of the Rostov Region. No one was injured. Around midnight in the Chertkovsky District, a power transmission tower near the Nagibin farm was damaged, resulting in the loss of power to more than 200 homes," wrote regional governor Yuri Slyusar. in his Telegram channel, stating that power was later restored.

Classes in kindergartens, schools, and supplementary education institutions have been canceled in the Slavyansky District of Krasnodar Krai due to the threat of drone strikes.

"In order to ensure the safety of residents of the Slavyansky District due to the drone attack, classes in kindergartens, schools, and supplementary education institutions on November 21 have been canceled until the threat of drone use is eliminated," district head Roman Sinyagovsky said in a Telegram message.

A total of nine UAVs were shot down in the skies over the Southern Federal District, seven over the Rostov Region, and two over the Krasnodar Krai, according to a message on the Ministry of Defense's Telegram channel.
