A motorcade of luxury cars was captured on video in Chechnya.

Dozens of luxury cars, including some with Ramzan Kadyrov's initials on the license plate, were caught on video. Some of them have no license plates, but all have tinted windows.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," on January 8, the head of Chechnya called tinting any car windows in Chechnya unacceptable and suggested that those afraid of raids "stay home." At the end of 2023, drivers in Chechnya faced new raids by security forces against car tinting; attempts to argue with the officers resulted in summonses, according to local residents. In December 2024, roadside inspections in Chechnya were again intensified, with drivers linking the raids to the fight against tinting. The ban on window tinting in Chechnya does not apply to the head of the republic himself and his close associates, commentators pointed out.

Military blogger Zhivov posted a video of a motorcade of luxury cars on his Telegram channel. It is claimed that the video was filmed in Chechnya. Some of the cars in the video have no license plates, but all have tinted windows. Three traffic police cars are in front of the motorcade.

"A typical wedding in Chechnya. It makes you proud that people know how to earn good money and live beautifully. After all, a wedding is for life. You can't skimp," he commented on the post.

The post doesn't indicate where or when the video was filmed.

In the Telegram channel, which has 115,489 subscribers, the video, viewed by 18,200 users, garnered over 2,000 reactions, 1,829 of which used the outraged emoji, 101 used the thoughtful emoji, and 95 used the thumbs-down emoji. 28 people reacted to the video with the "fire" emoji, 26 with the thumbs-up.

The convoy of more than 70 vehicles included at least a dozen Mercedes-Benz G-Classes, numerous Rolls-Royces, and four Lamborghinis. Some of the cars had "nice" license plates with the Chechen code, while others had none at all. One of the first cars in the convoy had a license plate with the initials KRA – "Kadyrov Ramzan Akhmatovich," Lenta.ru reports.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the third son of the Chechen leader appeared in a photo on his older sister's social media accounts, showing off another piece from his expensive watch collection – a limited edition Jacob & Co. worth over 41 million rubles.

In July, 17-year-old Adam Kadyrov wore a Jacob & Co. Billionaire Ashoka watch, valued at at least $2 million, to his wedding. He wore it while driving a limited-edition Mercedes worth $190,000. Social media users commented ironically on the ostentatious luxury at the wedding of the third son of the head of Chechnya.
