Two airports in southern Russia have stopped operating due to drone threat

An hour and a half later, Korenyako reported that similar restrictions had been introduced at the Gelendzhik airport, a message about this was published on his channel at 23:37 Moscow time. The Russian Defense Ministry, in turn, reported that from 20:00 to 23:00 Moscow time, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed ten Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea and seven over the territory of the Rostov region. After 23:00 Moscow time, explosions and alarm sirens were heard in Anapa, and residents of Novorossiysk and the village of Krinitsa in Gelendzhik also reported explosions, the SHOT Telegram channel reported.

Acting Governor of the Rostov Region Yuri Slyusar reported at 0.22 Moscow time that seven UAVs were destroyed in the Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Belokalitvinsky and Chertkovsky districts. “In Belaya Kalitva, the facade was damaged by shrapnel and the windows of two apartment buildings were broken, as well as in cars parked in the courtyards.
