Parliamentary candidate from Gelendzhik complains to Pamfilova about pressure on observer

Ilona Grachevskaya, a candidate to the Legislative Assembly in Gelendzhik, appealed to Ella Pamfilova, the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC), with a request to intervene in the situation in Gelendzhik. According to Ilona Grachevskaya, observer Tatiana Mamentieva was subjected to pressure after she discovered that an employee of the precinct election commission was hiding filled-in ballots.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 9-11, local elections were held in the regions of the North-Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts (NCFD and SFD).

Today, Ilona Grachevskaya, a candidate to the Legislative Assembly in Gelendzhik from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, has informed the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent that Tatiana Mamentieva, an observer at the elections from the CPRF, who recorded the violation, was not able to complete her work at the precinct election commission No. 09-01.

According to Ilona Grachevskaya, it was Tatiana Mamentieva, who suspected that deputy chair of the election commission Tarakanova was sitting on the ballots, and after the fact of the violation was made public, the observer was started to be subjected to pressure.

“Tatiana Mamentieva was invited to court at 6:00 p.m., that is, two hours before the end of the voting, and a subpoena was handed over to her at 5:58 p.m., and the court hearing was scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Prior to that, she was forbidden to move around the polling station, even without cameras. As a result, by court’s decision she was suspended from work at the polling station, and she was not able to complete her work,” Ilona Grachevskaya said.

In that regard, on September 11, Ilona Grachevskaya recorded a video message to Ella Pamfilova, the head of the Central Election Commission, with a request to intervene in the situation. However, no response to the appeal has been received so far.
