Kadyrov's critics report intensifying campaign in his support

After the Chechen Minister of Information and Press had been replaced, the number of comments in defence of Ramzan Kadyrov under his opponents' posts increased, the opposition 1Adat Movement reports. Blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov has also noticed the above-mentioned trend: his video appeal to the leader of Chechnya gained dozens of critical comments.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 25, Chechen public sector employees complained that their chiefs forced them to write critical comments under the posts on social networks that negatively assessed the activities of the Chechen authorities.

In Chechnya, officials do not hide their demands to monitor social networks and form an "alternative" picture of events in the republic, says advocate Zaurbek Sadakhanov. According to him, most social network users prefer to write anonymous comments, and that fact indicates their involuntary participation in such information campaigns.

"The republic is small, people need to appear in society and do things that will be shameful to them. They do not want to do such things under their own names," Zaurbek Sadakhanov explained.

The advocate believes it makes no sense to complain in such cases.

The involvement of public sector employees in the propaganda activities began after Akhmed Dudaev had been appointed the Chechen Minister of Information and Press, an administrator of the 1Adat Telegram Channel notes.

The number of critical comments has increased, Tumso Abdurakhmanov confirms. Today, the blogger posted on his YouTube channel a video appeal to Ramzan Kadyrov, in which he recalled the story with Salman Tepsurkaev.

In their comments, many social network users supported Tumso Abdurakhmanov, but a significant part of the users criticized the blogger and stood up for the leader of Chechnya.
