29 people have been taken to police stations from a protest action held in front of the Armenian government building, the police report.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, several hundred activists have come to the building of the Armenian parliament with the demand for the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. During the protest action, the activists clashed with the police, and law enforcers began to detain the protestors.

The Armenian opposition voiced the initiative concerning the Nikol Pashinyan's resignation immediately after the signing of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan, which entered into force on November 10. The consideration of the above initiative at the parliament is being hindered by the martial law still in force in the country. Both the President of Armenia and Garegin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, called on Nikol Pashinyan to resign.

Earlier, about 100 opposition activists have tried to enter the building of the Armenian government and demanded a meeting with the prime minister of the country. "Let us come in. We want to meet this person and inform him that he no longer has power in the country. He must leave," the TASS quotes one of the protesters as saying.
