Georgian MFA calls treaty between Russia and Abkhazia an element of annexation

The integration agreement between Russia and Abkhazia continues the annexation of the Georgia's territory, and by the conclusion of such agreements, Russia violates the international law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Georgia declares.

On November 23, the Russian authorities announced the approval of a programme to form a common social and economic space between Russia and Abkhazia based on the harmonization of the laws. The agreement expands the agreement on alliance and strategic partnership of November 24, 2014.
