The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to the relatives, two residents of the Kenkhi village in the Sharoi District were tortured and forced to incriminate their six fellow villagers in a case on drug use. The law enforcement bodies announced that three out of eight detainees would be prosecuted. The detainees' relatives could not find out any information about their fate.

On October 22, Muslimat, the mother of Khamzat Rashidkhanov, said that her son had not been released. According to the woman, her 26-year-old son worked in Grozny and recently returned home. "He has never had any problems with the law before. I don't believe that he is to blame for anything illegal," the woman noted.
