Parents of the militants who perished in Kabardino-Balkaria addressed G-8

It has become known to the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" that the parents of the militants who have been killed in Kabardino-Balkaria militants have sent today an appeal to the summit of the "Great Eight," in which they ask to affect the issue of giving out the bodies of their sons for burial.

"First of all, the provision of the law, establishing the ban on giving out of bodies, is punishing the innocent mothers, children and other relatives of the dead ones, and violating their religious rights fixed in the Constitution of Russia and in the international law.

We have addressed the president of Russia asking him to exhibit an act of humanism and give out the bodies for burial. The address was accompanied by signatures of more than ten thousand citizens of the Republic, who signed the application to the name of the president of the Russian Federation Mr. Putin, V. V.

Besides, we have stated more than once that it was not a terrorist act, and the object of attack was not a city and population, but exclusively power structures, which exerted physical and moral violence on our sons for several years. Their multiple complaints got no reaction of the authorities and the prosecutor's office.

Even irrespective of the fact what has taken place - terrorism or an armed insurrection, one should first of all try not to create reasons and conditions for this to happen.

1) It is necessary to restore the right to life;
2) Tortures and actions degrading and humiliating person's dignity must be stopped;
3) Kidnapping must be stopped;
4) The right for a fair trial must be restored; people would not for nothing throw themselves out from the balcony of the Department for Fighting Organized Crime (UBOP), as was the case with the detained Psanukov, Zaur Isufovich, and gnash one's veins, as it was the case with Guchev, Zaur Anatolievich.

It is necessary to restore human rights. Only in a lawful state one can safely live and rear children."

The appeal was delivered to mass media for publication.
