Law enforcers detain a Petersburg resident for action on Akhmat Kadyrov bridge

Law enforcers accused a 17-year-old activist detained in Saint Petersburg of violating the procedure for holding a public action for "transferring" the Akhmat Kadyrov bridge to Ingushetia. After that, the teenager was released from the police station.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 26, activists of the "Vesna" art group unfolded the banner reading: "It belongs to Ingushetia" on the Akhmat Kadyrov bridge in Saint Petersburg. They explained that they "handed the Akhmat Kadyrov bridge over" to Ingushetia to replace the Ingush lands transferred to Chechnya.

According to Valentina Khoroshenina, a coordinator of the "Vesna" art group, the young activist was detained near his house and released 2.5 hours later.

His case will be considered by the Juvenile Affairs Commission for the Admiralteisky District, since the activist is 17 years old.
