Azerbaijan registers 98 cases of shelling from Armenian side

During the day, the Armenian armed forces 98 times violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line of the troops, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 28, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 79 cases of shelling.

"Over the day, units of the Armenian armed forces 98 times violated the ceasefire in various directions of the front," reports the Azerbaijani MoD on its website today.

The fire came both from the territory of Armenia and from the area considered by Azerbaijan as its occupied territories, the Azerbaijani MoD reports.

As of 9:32 a.m. Moscow time on September 29, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh did not post on their websites any comments concerning the Azerbaijani MoD's statement.
