Child dies in car accident

A police officer driving a Niva service car ran over a child unexpectedly running into the carriageway in Transportnaya St in Jalka, Gudermes district at 3.30 pm on 16 June, Chechnya's Internal Affairs Ministry told RIA Novosti.

The child died of injuries in the hospital.
