More casualties in Chechnya

The bomb was planted in the forest near Komsomolskoye of Chechnya's Urus-Martan district, Chechen law enforcement agencies say. It went off in the morning on 2 March, when a military reconnaissance unit of the Russian Defence Ministry was working in the area. The unit commander was killed, but no one else suffered.

Law enforcement agencies are currently working to establish those involved in planting the bomb, searching for rebels, Novosti news agency says.
