Servicemen attacked in Chechnya

A source in the republican military commandant's office has told it to the Caucasian Knot correspondent. As it has become known, the incident took place on the road leading from the district center Achkhoy-Martan to the village of Kotar-Yurt.

"Yesterday afternoon, rebels blew up a radio-controlled self-made explosive device a few kilometers away from the Kotar-Yurt village in the Achkhoy-Martan district when a column of federal forces, consisting of two armored Ural trucks accompanied by two APCs, was moving by.
