New chairman of State Council of Chechnya elected

Taus Dzhabrailov was elected Chairman of the State Council of Chechnya today. He took the place of Husein Isayev, who was killed in a terrorist act in Grozny on May 9. Earlier Dzhabrailov held the post of Minister for Nationalities, Information and Foreign Relations in the Chechen government. Dzhabrailov has been also appointed deputy head of the Chechen government.
