Local detained in Mesker-Yurt village

A 25-year-old man was abducted by Russian security agents in the village of Mesker-Yurt, Chechnya's Shali district, on January 29. The servicemen in masks and camouflage reportedly rushed at daybreak into the house where the young man lived and took him in an unknown direction without bringing any charges against him. Relatives of the abducted man are trying to ascertain his whereabouts and further destiny but without success.
