Two people abducted in Grozny district of Chechnya

A local Khamzayev and his near relation were captured by gunmen in masks and camouflage in the village of Berkat-Yurt, Chechnya's Grozny (rural) district, on January 25. Several dozens of servicemen reportedly encircled the house that Khamzayev lived in and fired on it from automatic weapons and grenade launchers, which caused ignition in the house. Then the attackers rushed inside, captured Khamzayev and his relative, forced them into a car, and took away in an unknown direction. Having extinguished the fire in the house, neighbors found dead bodies of two men with bullet wounds in one of the rooms. The killed men have not been identified yet.
