Mikhail Saakashvili officially assumed office of the Georgian President on January 25. During the official inauguration ceremony, he made a promise to protect the country's Constitution and care for security and well-being of its people. He named the restoration of Georgia's territorial integrity, extermination of poverty and corruption as the priorities in his activity.
