Resident of Dagestan reports kidnapping and murder of his brother by power agents

Abdurakhman Asludinov, a resident of the village of Shamkhal (a suburb of Makhachkala), who was killed on August 18 by MIA agents in the capital of Dagestan, had been kidnapped before his death by power agents, said today Magomed Asludinov, Abdurakhman's brother.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 18 law enforcers identified the two murdered persons, who, according to power agents, did not obey to the order to stop and opened fire on Dagestani MIA employees. By return fire both men in the car were killed. They turned to be Oki Magomedov, 32, a resident of the village of Tube (the Kumtorkalin District of Dagestan) and Abdurakhman Asludinov, 24, a resident of the village of Shamkhal.

"It's a lie. I was today in the morgue. One could see that my brother and Magomedov were tortured to death. Abdurakhman's head was smashed, his arms, nose and jaws were broken; his entire breast was in burn traces; his thigh had a stab wound; the whole body was covered with bruises. The body of Magomedov looked the same. They were tortured by power agents," said Magomed Asludinov.

He said that there are numerous eyewitnesses who saw Magomedov's kidnapping. "On that day in the evening he was returning in his car from the village of Tube back to Shamkhal. Suddenly the road was blocked by several cars. Men jumped out of the cars, dragged Oki out of his car, pushed into one of their cars; then they drove at a super-high speed in the direction of Makhachkala," said Magomed.

He added that both casualties had dependent wives and two small children each. Earlier, Magomedov and Abdurakhman Asludinov were registered by local law enforcers as adherents of Wahhabism; it happened after one of conflicts in the mosque in 2010.

Magomed Asludinov said that he intended to apply to the investigatory department of Dagestan.

The press service of Dagestani MIA said that they knew nothing about kidnappings and torture.
