Electricity will be supplied to Georgian section at Swiss Embassy in Russia on August 22 for 2 months

Electricity supply to the Moscow business centre, which houses the consular division of the section of Georgia's interests at the Embassy of Switzerland in the Russian Federation will be resumed on Monday, August 22, for the period of two months under the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia.

This was reported by Oleg Anikeev, Director General of the Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) "RusInvestProject", which owns the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "Business Centre Ostozhenka", where the above section of Georgia's interests at the Embassy of Switzerland is located.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that after August 4 it became impossible in Moscow to receive visas to Georgia. The reason was in suspension of the work of the consular service of the section of Georgia's interests because of electricity outage. The supply was stopped because of utility debts. The work was resumed on August 8. On August 17 electricity was again disconnected, since the rental and utility debts were not repaid.

"The Russian MFA has addressed me in writing asking to refrain for two months from disconnecting power supply to the Georgia's section. Therefore, in the morning on August 22 I'll switch on the power," The RIA "Novosti" quotes Anikeev as saying.
