Mourning meeting in memory of victims of December 2002 terrorist act in Grozny

A mourning meeting in memory of victims of the December 2002 terrorist act took place near the building of the government in Grozny on December 27.

Church candles were lit out in commemoration of the Russians perished. A bull was slaughtered as sacrifice by a Moslem tradition, the meat being given out to relatives of the victims of the terrorist act.

72 people died last year when two KamAZ trucks detonated near the administrative building. Over 200 people got injuries. Shamil Basayev stands behind it, according to law-enforcement agencies.
